General Conditions
Reservation:
A Renter may book a car by calling one of EUROPCAR UKRAINE offices or by doing it on-line www.europcar.ua Reservation is approved for vehicle category only.
Important! If you plan to rent a car in EUROPCAR in
Rates:
Rates include maintenance of the vehicle, CDW, TW, Third Part Liability insurance, VAT. Rates exclude gasoline.
Standard Daily Rates are for 24 hours from start of rental. If a daily rental period is exceeded by more than 59 minutes, another full day will be charged. Minimum rental period is 24 hours.
If the vehicle is returned before the rental period mentioned in the Rental Agreement, EUROPCAR will recalculate rental price according to the Local Tariff in full.
Payment:
Major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express are accepted as well as cashless settlement.
Payment is collected by the day of signing of the Rental Agreement in Hryvnas UA according to exchange rate of National Bank of Ukraine.
Long-term rental:
EUROPCAR provides the services of long-term rental (one month and longer periods) for the special prices. For more detailed information, please, call to EUROPCAR offices.
Liability of Renter:
The renter is held financially responsible in case if rented vehicle or its parts are damaged, lost or stolen even when not at his fault. The Renter is fully liable for the damages of tires, wheels, vehicle’s underbody, and also for all traffic rules violations committed while using a car.
EUROPCAR company does everything the Renter’s comfort. If, for any reason, the Renter is fails to return the vehicle during our opening hours, the Renter should keep in mind that he is responsible for the vehicle until the vehicle is safely returned to EUROPCAR representative.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW):
This option limits Renter’s financial liability in case of traffic accident, or damaging the EUROPCAR vehicle or its parts, if the Renter complies with the Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement. The Renter liability rate may be reduced to the amount indicated in the Rental Agreement.
Theft Waiver (TW):
This option limits Renter’s financial liability in case of theft of the EUROPCAR vehicle or its parts, if the Renter complies with the Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement. The Renter liability rate may be reduced to the amount indicated in the Rental Agreement.
Deposit:
Deposit amount for the vehicle taken for rental period depends on vehicle category. The deposit amount will be blocked on Renter’s Credit card and will be unblocked after vehicle returning if the Renter complies with the Terms and Conditions of the Rental Agreement.
Documents:
The Renter should have driving license and passport valid in Ukraine. The renter’s driving experience should not be less than 2 years.
Minimum age:
The minimum age for all vehicle groups is 25 years.
Chauffeur service:

Delivery/collection:
Delivery/collection of the vehicle within city limits during office hours is free of charge; beyond the office hours the charge is 20 ?. The cost of the delivery/collection of the vehicle in other cities of Ukraine (one way) charge shall be additionally calculated.
Airport surcharge:
24 ? per rental will be charged if the Renter picks up or (and) returns the vehicle at the Airport.
Additional driver:
In case of any additional driver, the driver’s license and passport should be enclosed for inserting in the Rental Agreement. The additional driver charge is 6 ? per day.
Gasoline:
Please, use A-95 gasoline only. If a vehicle is returned with less gasoline than mentioned in the Rental Agreement, the Renter will be charged for refueling service of 1,20 ? per liter. The Renter is fully liable for the damage of the rented car caused by usage of other type of gasoline.
Driving outside Ukraine is not allowed.
Penalties:
EUROPCAR will charge a penalty of 300 ?, in case of lost car documents or keys.
Actions in case of accident:
If the accident has happened (any accident or damage, physical or material damage is caused to other persons while using the vehicle, loss or theft of the rented vehicle or its parts) the Renter must call Police immediately (phone number “02”) and inform the representative of EUROPCAR. The Renter should present EUROPCAR office the official accident report from the police about accident within 24 hours.
Attention!!! In case of any accident of the EUROPCAR vehicle, please, bring the official accident report from police; otherwise the Renter is fully liable for the vehicle damages.
