This is the first joint event between STADA Baltic/ STADA Group , RÄ«ga Stradiņš University Innovation Center, and EIT, bringing together bright minds to tackle key challenges in healthcare: ✠Educating patients on biological treatment ✠Improving adherence to treatment It was an intense and inspiring day, expertly moderated by Vilis BrÅ«veris (great job! 👏), and packed with team briefings, brainstorming, and valuable insights. A special highlight was the talk by Marta PutrinÅ¡ , Co-founder of EsaDres, who shared her personal story about the transformative journey from scientist to entrepreneur. I particularly liked the definition of “active listening” by Zigurds Zakis (Strategic Planner, SIA Dzeltenā ZemÅ«dene)—he described it as “listening with a pencil,” and I must say, I took a lot of notes today! For me, it was also my first experience as a mentor in a hackathon. I truly enjoyed the focus, energy, and team spirit in the room as teams worked on solutions to help patients achieve better treatment outcomes. Now, we eagerly await Day 2, where teams will refine their ideas and prepare for the final jury presentations.
