Our clients Our suppliers The Metalyt Foundry is a reliable manufacturer of iron castings Iron casting is the most common and affordable method to manufacture parts and blanks to be used in construction, machine building, metallurgy and other industries. Nowadays, casting services are provided by many Ukrainian foundries quite rightfully led by Metalyt PrJSC. We produce iron castings by using the sand-clay mould (SCM) casting technology that ensures low cost of production and excellent quality of the finished products. We produce iron castings by using the sand-clay mould casting technique. It is a time-proven technology that allows making parts with high-quality surface finish and precise dimensions. The method involves fabricating a model which is attached to a slab and filled with moulding mix made of clay, sand, water, earth, resin, and binding agents. Once the mix fills the space between the prototype of the part being created and the model walls, it is compacted and hardened by thermal treatment. After the part cools down, it is extracted from the mould and finished by grinding. Key advantages of the SCM casting technology are: high speed of production; versatility; low cost of production. While being relatively simple, the technique requires proper selection of the materials, strict adherence to the rules and close control over each stage of the manufacturing process. These are the principles that underlie operation of the Metalyt cast-iron product plant offering end-to-end blank manufacture, from drafting to turn-key creation of parts. We offer products for: automotive industry: brake discs and drums, crankshafts, clutch discs, gearbox components and other parts; agricultural machine building: wheel hubs, body parts for various-purpose machinery, cast-iron holders, component parts for cultivators, ploughs, seeders and other special-purpose machinery, crank mechanisms; hydraulics: servo cylinders, servo pistons, component parts for hydraulic pumps and control valves; railroad vehicles: carriage and locomotive brake blocks, cocks, anchors, mono dampers, suspension parts. Our production capacities allow promptly making simply- and complex-shaped parts weighing from 0.5 to 55 kg and meeting the GOST requirements at reasonable cost.
