Since the first days of war our team About the project WE HELP CHILDREN 0 YEARS HELPING CHILDREN 0 FAMILIES UNDER CARE 0 CHILDREN UNDER CARE About us Ukrainian Educational Foundation Charitable Foundation “Ukrainian Educational Foundation” In peacetime, our team creates and implements educational projects and social initiatives. The most famous are the national project CITY OF PROFESSIONS, “Books for children”, video stories about professions, lectures “Professions of the future”, etc. Since the first days of the full-scale war, the foundation’s team has been helping children in the cities and towns of the “red” zone. As of June 1, 2024, we have carried out 79 missions to children in Donetsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Zaporizhia regions. We call our work “craft”. Before each trip, we collect information about children in the settlement where the mission is planned. For each child in our database, there is a questionnaire – height, leg size, and preferences. Based on the questionnaire, the foundation volunteers put together individual packages with clothes (at least 7 units), shoes, hygiene products, a grocery set for 2 weeks, stationery, healthy sweets, and a toy. This is very painstaking work, which we treat according to the principle “as for our own children” – to ensure that every button is fastened and without a single stain on the clothes. Thanks to Nova Poshta Humanitarian partners, we collect and send individual packages for children all over Ukraine daily. In addition to humanitarian missions, together with friends of children, we created and implemented the following projects and initiatives: Educational spaces in the cities of the “red” zone and home libraries in family-type houses. Master Studio. It is a space where children learn to work with different instruments in weekly classes. And thanks to a grant from the RAZOM Foundation, we taught 320 children to work with manual woodworking tools. Vitamins for children. For the first time, we implemented this initiative in May 2022 for children who were in the Kharkiv metro. Funds were collected and more than 5,000 packages of vitamins were purchased. In 2023, we received vitamins from the German manufacturer Doppelherz for children and adults for 2 million hryvnias. Individual supervision of IDP families. From evacuation to full family support.
