Its goal is to transform Ukraine into a digital state. The key project of the Ministry is the Diia ecosystem, which consists of a mobile application, a portal and other services. Within Diia, the Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched the world’s first digital passport, which is a complete analogue of a regular passport, the fastest business registration, a comprehensive service for parents called eBaby, and many other services. Another important project is Diia.City, a unique legal and tax space for IT companies. After Russia’s full-scale invasion, the Ministry of Digital Transformation is waging the world’s first digital war against the aggressor. Venture Cup held the first University Startup World Cup in 2015, bringing together startups from all over the world. The project must be in one of the following categories: GREEN : Making our planet and society more sustainable and environmentally friendly. SOCIAL : Solutions that help people locally and globally, improving society and our lives. DIGITAL : Everything from software and financial services to new platforms. PRODUCT : A physical device or prototype that improves functionality or helps customers. HEALTH : Optimizing the healthcare industry, saving more lives, and improving well-being. The event will take place on May 22-24 in Tallinn, Estonia! Latitude59 is the flagship startup and technology event of Estonia’s digital society, the community that has created the largest number of unicorn startups. It is the largest international startup and technology event in the region, gathering more than 3,000 people from 60+ countries every year. More information about the event is available here . Nexus 2050 is a new technology event that will take place on 26-27 June in Luxembourg. The target industries of Nexus 2050 are artificial intelligence, sustainability, cybersecurity, financial technology, and talent acquisition and development. The event aims to combine environmental and digital transformation to harness technology for the benefit of governments, organisations and corporations, helping them to implement strategies to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. Priority will be given to: startups that have participated no more than twice in delegations organised with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ukrainian Startup Fund in 2023; startups founded by women; startups whose representatives are located in Europe or have the ability to travel abroad. SELECTION STEPS: Filling in the application form; Checking for compliance with the terms of the competition; Selection of up to 20 startups by the Nexus 2050 organisers and invitation to join the Ukrainian delegation to Nexus 2050. As part of the participation in Nexus 2050, the delegation organisers will provide 2 tickets to the conference for startup representatives, as well as a stand in the exhibition area. In addition, during the event, Ukrainian startups will be provided with matchmaking services to meet representatives of the Luxembourg and European ecosystem. Travel and accommodation costs for the delegation members will not be covered. The application deadline for participation in the competitive selection is 10 of May 2024 .
