What is the measurement accuracy? The geometer ® SCOUT can perform measurements with different accuracy, it depends on the selected kit of equipment and conditions of satellite signal reception. Basic accuracy of measurements depends on accuracy of internal GNSS receiver of your device: mostly 0.5% when measuring an area of 1 hectare and above. Do not use the GNSS device inside or close to buildings and structures. Start measuring when the number of working satellites is at least 10. Check the HDOP value, which should be no higher than 1.0. When measuring by walking, try to move quickly, at least 5 km/h. During area measurement process, do not stop with the receiver turned on. If you need to stop, use the "Pause" button.
