Its goal is to transform Ukraine into a digital state. The key project of the Ministry is the Diia ecosystem, which consists of a mobile application, a portal and other services. Within Diia, the Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched the world’s first digital passport, which is a complete analogue of a regular passport, the fastest business registration, a comprehensive service for parents called eBaby, and many other services. Another important project is Diia.City, a unique legal and tax space for IT companies. After Russia’s full-scale invasion, the Ministry of Digital Transformation is waging the world’s first digital war against the aggressor. The event will take place on May 22-24 in Tallinn, Estonia! Latitude59 is the flagship startup and technology event of Estonia’s digital society, the community that has created the largest number of unicorn startups. It is the largest international startup and technology event in the region, gathering more than 3,000 people from 60+ countries every year. More information about the event is available here . The application deadline for participation in the competitive selection is May 5 at 11:59 p.m. The selection of startups for the final pitching will take place on May 8 at 12 p.m. THE STARTUP MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA: startup registered and operating in Ukraine, positioning themselves as Ukrainian; technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 5 or higher; great market potential (ready to attract investments and / or launching the pilot project). Priority will be given to startups in the field of impact and deep tech. SELECTION STAGES: Filling out an application about your product/service; Checking for compliance with the terms of the competition; Participation in the Pitch and presentation of the startup to the jury on May 8 at 12 p.m. Selection of 8 teams based on the results of the jury’s evaluation and invitation to join the Ukrainian delegation. The delegation organizers will provide one ticket to the conference for startup representatives, as well as a stand in the exhibition area. Nexus 2050 is a new technology event that will take place on 26-27 June in Luxembourg. The target industries of Nexus 2050 are artificial intelligence, sustainability, cybersecurity, financial technology, and talent acquisition and development. The event aims to combine environmental and digital transformation to harness technology for the benefit of governments, organisations and corporations, helping them to implement strategies to achieve net zero emissions by 2050. Priority will be given to: startups that have participated no more than twice in delegations organised with the support of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ukrainian Startup Fund in 2023; startups founded by women; startups whose representatives are located in Europe or have the ability to travel abroad. SELECTION STEPS: Filling in the application form; Checking for compliance with the terms of the competition; Selection of up to 20 startups by the Nexus 2050 organisers and invitation to join the Ukrainian delegation to Nexus 2050. As part of the participation in Nexus 2050, the delegation organisers will provide 2 tickets to the conference for startup representatives, as well as a stand in the exhibition area. In addition, during the event, Ukrainian startups will be provided with matchmaking services to meet representatives of the Luxembourg and European ecosystem. Participation in London Tech Week 2024 includes a place at the national stand, tickets for two representatives from a startup or product company, as well as participation of selected teams in delegation activities, side events, meetings with government officials, investment funds, local accelerators, incubators, and other technology organizations. Travel expenses for the delegation members will not be covered. The application deadline for participation in the competitive selection is April 29, 2024 .
