Він народився і жив на італійському півострові в південному регіоні, в якому і народилась Неаполітанська піца. Silvio винайшов надзвичайно простий ніж, котрий робить приготування їжі зручнішим. На відміну від інших ножей, mezzaluna має округлене лезо, котре розрізає піцу з середини створючи чистий розріз, не розриваючи продукт. Неполотіанська піца це не лише смак, переповнений емоціями, а ще є естетика їжі, без якої сучасна гастрономія неповноцінна. Завдяки невеликому винаходу простого італійця, розрізана піца зберігає свою історію та красу. В честь дати, коли у світі зявилась Mezzaluna, ми і назвали мережу, оскільки людина, яка її створила, мала ті ж цінності що і ми – естетику, новаторство та бажання міняти світ на краще. Фішка формату – розрізання піци власноруч спеціальним ножем Кожен наш гість має можливість доторкнутись до історії та відчути себе італійцем. Піца подається не розрізаною, чим зберігає свої форми та виглядає більш інстаграмною. Особливість піци Неополітанська піца за авторською рецептурою з пухкими, хрусткими бортиками, покритими чорними «плямами» різного розміру, які називаються «поцілунком вогню». Індивідуальності кожній піці додають різноманітні соуси для бортиків, які спонукають з’їсти піцу до останньої крихти. Асортимент Окрім основного продукту – неаполітанської піци, пропонуються інші концептуальні страви. До додаткових асортиментних груп належать – антіпасті, салати, сніданки, кава, вино, лимонади, фреші та десерти. Щомісяця пропонується нове шеф-меню.
