What we've done in 2022

  • A drone and a thermal imager are essential components of the «Ammunition, Supplies, and Medicines for the Armed Forces« project

Quadcopters and thermal imagers play a crucial role in modern warfare technology. Our military relies on night vision devices and drones for reconnaissance purposes, detecting enemy vehicles, and identifying live targets. These devices are instrumental in countering enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups, as well as formulating effective military strategies.

Thanks to the Foundation’s efforts, the military technical reconnaissance unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine A7382 received a DJI Mavic Standard quadcopter drone. Our team successfully raised UAH 130,000 for its purchase.

Additionally, a thermal imager was provided to the defender of the city of Nikopol, located in a highly active combat zone. The Foundation raised UAH 30,000 to acquire this essential equipment.

  • Assistance from the Foundation to the 92nd Motorized Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko

The Foundation has extended its support to the soldiers of the 92nd Motorized Brigade named after Kosh Ataman Ivan Sirko. As part of this assistance, the military personnel have received one laptop and five tents.

  • Project «Targeted Assistance to IDPs»

While major cities in Ukraine receive humanitarian aid on a relatively regular basis, it often takes months for food and essential supplies to reach thousands of small villages. Despite being a key sector of the Ukrainian economy, these villages not only provide food for Ukraine but also contribute to global agricultural exports. Therefore, it is crucial to provide assistance to the residents of Ukrainian villages. In light of this, the Foundation has launched the Targeted Assistance to IDPs project.

The project aims to support the most vulnerable segments of the population, such as women with children and the elderly, in regions that do not receive humanitarian aid. The aid packages are directly delivered to the recipients’ addresses instead of going through administrative channels.

The Foundation has already dispatched over 1,000 packages, each weighing 20 kg. These packages contain food, medicine, clothing, as well as adult and child hygiene products.

It is of utmost importance to support these smaller regions so that individuals affected by the war do not feel abandoned. The country is committed to caring for the lives and well-being of every citizen!

  • Monthly Humanitarian Assistance

On a monthly basis, the Foundation, in collaboration with the UN program and with the assistance of its partners Volunteer Hundred and team4ua, provides humanitarian aid to the residents of Nikopol who have been affected by enemy shelling and whose homes have been damaged or destroyed.

The residents of Nikopol receive packages containing food and essential supplies. In total, 8 trucks, each carrying 1320 boxes, have been dispatched. Four trucks are allocated for Nikopol specifically, while the remaining four are designated for the surrounding region.

  • The town of Novovorontsovka received 2 tons of humanitarian aid

The assistance was provided to the residents of Novovorontsovka. The town currently has a significant number of pensioners who are living under constant shelling and are in need of humanitarian aid.

We express our gratitude to the partners of the NGO «Great Idea» and the logistics center «Marlog».

  • 150 packages of 20 kg of food were sent to the residents of Maryanske

Maryanske was under shelling, which prevented the delivery of humanitarian aid to the town.

The residents received 150 «Good Packs» containing a month’s worth of food assistance (pasta, cereals, canned meat, oil, biscuits, tea, coffee, flour, canned goods, pâtés).

Thanks to the partners of the NGO «Volunteer Hundred», the local residents received the necessary food assistance.

  • 3 generators for bomb shelters

Last year, hundreds of Ukrainians learned for the first time what a bomb shelter is, and today shelters have become a familiar place for them. Sometimes the threat of shelling lasts for hours or even days, so it is of utmost importance to ensure the shelters are comfortable. A significant problem currently is the frequent power outages. People are compelled to stay in cold bomb shelters without light and heat, unable to warm up, have a hot beverage, or even charge their phones to find out if the danger has subsided.

  • The Foundation has purchased 3 boilers for the Nikopol City Primary Care Hospital.

Sterility is of utmost importance in any medical facility. Doctors and nurses must thoroughly wash their hands before and after examinations or procedures, medical instruments must be stored in sterile conditions and regularly sanitized, and offices and corridors require regular wet cleaning. These boilers will help create proper working conditions for doctors and medical staff.

  • Marathon of Conscious Living

As part of the Marathon of Conscious Living, we were able to raise UAH 3,700 to purchase military equipment and bandages.

Taking care of children is an investment in a happy future. War has a devastating impact on the mental well-being of children. They constantly experience stress and anxiety, and the lack of socialization poses a significant disadvantage. Even during times of war, children require entertainment and opportunities to communicate with their peers. Therefore, to safeguard the mental health of children and support the younger generation during this challenging period for our country, the Foundation’s team has implemented various activities for children.

  • Children's Drawing Competition «Dog Patron»

Children have contributed to supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine through their creativity. The Foundation received drawings portraying the heartwarming legend of this war – Dog Patron – from 21 children residing in different parts of Ukraine. Concerned individuals participated in voting for the best drawing by making donations.

The contest-auction raised UAH 3,200. These funds were utilized to purchase ammunition and supplies for the military in Lysychansk, Luhansk Oblast.

  • Battle Santa Claus for all children

The «Battle Santa Claus for all children» campaign marked the end of the calendar year. As part of this event, children wrote letters to Santa Claus and sharing their wishes for gifts

A total of 1,500 letters were received from children, and Santa Claus assistants fulfilled 1,000 of these wishes.

The Foundation also fulfilled the dreams of 200 children. The expenditure on gifts for children amounted to UAH 2,000,000, with the most expensive gift priced at UAH 8,999.00. On average, each gift cost UAH 1,500.
