She had to leave the town, when she was a girl, because of cheating of her beloved Alfred. Claire doesn't return to see the city and her old love, she seeks justice. So, she agrees to give one billion to the townspeople, but on one condition – if one of them kills Alfred. Besides, the play is considered to be a national heritage in general. There is a love triangle Varka-Hnat-Sofia at the heart of the story. Their relationship is the main storyline of the drama. However, the author suggests a difficult, but deeper version of understanding and immersion in the eternal category, Love, which is given only to the chosen ones. It will exist as long as Life, Humanity, and World exist. How? Accidentally? Unthinkingly? Jokingly? Or... BUY A TICKET 08/10/2023 Glass Menagerie Tennessee Williams Director: Tatiana Arkushenko The focus is on a small American family. The mother dreams of the successful future of her children and tells about her past success all the time. The daughter lives in the world of fragile illusions. And the son dreams of doing creative work, but works in a shoe store instead. There is the father in the play. He left them many years ago and went wandering. His wife had nothing to do but support her family, including her little son, all alone. The plot contains a love story and a feeling of an imminent war, because one of the leitmotifs of the work is that Zabryokha constantly receives letters of orders to march with his centurion to defend the state. And there are many different sub-themes that are consonant with our problems: the theme of power, which accidentally falls into the hands of the wrong person... The author has embedded a lot of political, life, spiritual meanings in this play. It is a kind... BUY A TICKET 14/10/2023 Three Comrades themed by E. M. Remarque`s novel Director: Yuriy Odynokyy All the novels by Remarque are soaked in the pain of the generation, which, after horrors of the First World War, survived the global crisis, moral impoverishment and political apocalypse. Our Sixtiers were brought up on his works. He has become the owner of the thoughts of the whole generation. During the “thaw” period, the first translations of Remarque appeared in the Soviet Union. His books were galloped over, his characters were induced to act, raised the inner freedom and inspired faith... BUY A TICKET 25/11/2023 Richard ІІІ William Shakespeare Director: Avtandil Varsimashvili One of the main topics for the authors of the performance was the meticulous study of the essence of dangerous and incomprehensible labyrinths of the psychology of a lonely person, humiliated both by nature and by others. There is the dialectics of transforming suffering into criminality and tyranny. Paradoxically, Richard's disability gives him inner freedom and a whimsical sense of power over people, in the director's interpretation. Richard is the hermit. He is deprived of real feelings. And as a skillful master of puppets and virtuoso actor, he starts the “fun” created by his sick mind. The thrill of the...
