The article defines global partnership as a necessary form of cooperation of space states with the involvement of all other subjects interested in this plane. The study was conducted on the basis of the analysis of the latest examples of global partnerships for space exploration, the principles of space exploration, and the legislation of some states. The article reveals the global partnership as a modern basis for space exploration, which consists in the formation of a joint global strategy for space exploration and the implementation of joint innovative, open, interdisciplinary space exploration activities, which are built on the priority of peace and security and serve to obtain equal opportunities to the use of space resources.
