SEB’s history in Ukraine started in 2005, and following a reorganization of activities in 2012 we are now present in Ukraine as a pure corporate bank. The product offering in Ukraine consists of a full range of wholesale banking services to clients, including working capital financing, investment financing, servicing of cross-border loans, trade finance solutions, cash management, domestic and international payments, currency control, electronic banking, foreign exchange and money market operations. In addition, SEB also provide a solution for salary and corporate cards to our corporate customers. Finally, SEB publish a weekly newsletter “Ukraine Weekly” with a brief update of main events in the financial sector that is distributed via e-mail. The advantage of having an in-market team with local knowledge is particularly evident in the highly regulated Ukrainian market where the legislation and regulations in the financial sector are continuously changed on a frequent basis and typically with short notice.
