This mobile application brings together loved ones who are at a distance from each other. Together with project co-founder Yevhen Zasutsky, we worked to create a convenient solution for separated couples through COVID-19. We went through all the stages of the startup development, conducted the Discovery phase, tested our hypotheses and concept, created the MVP, and now we continue to develop the project. After that, we conducted surveys and in-depth interviews that helped us understand more about who our customers are. Using information from the interview, we discovered more about our future users, created Portraits of our personas, and identified what problems our application would resolve for each persona. We have created a mobile application prototype. Later, we validated this concept by conducting a series of interviews with users. We created a design that would solve the problems and needs of our users and fit the portraits of our personas. Thus, we validated our hypotheses at each stage of work on the product and were confident before starting direct development. Since this is a startup, it was essential to develop a ready-made solution in the shortest possible time. That's why we created and launched the MVP version of the Obimy mobile app. Our Back-end and Mobile developers worked on developing the project. We decided to make native solutions in Swift separately for iOS and Kotlin for Android. To create a high-quality architecture, we invited a DevOps specialist. In addition, our QA Engineer was involved in testing the mobile application. We analyze our users' feedback, explore how we can improve the mobile application, fix bugs, and improve our users' experience. The app has recently gained over 3 million users. It was essential to ensure that the solution would be valuable, comfortable, and valuable for users. In the first few months, we often changed the concept of a mobile application. Obimy was initially conceived as an application for sharing information about fertile periods in couples. After that, we realized that we could improve the application to reach a larger audience, including families and families. Sensenger The main idea of Obimy is to send senses to your loved ones.
