The future is near
We are all witnesses of the forming process of the new energy paradigm of the XXI century when electricity becomes a universal and most affordable source of energy for mankind and brings consumers light, heat, security, communication, Internet, transport and is the basis of any innovation products.
At the same time, archaic and climate-changing types of electricity generation are being replaced by new, more friendly to nature and human health, clean energy sources – renewable sources. According to current research by the international agencies IRENA, REN21 and IEA, this process is already inevitable in the world, and, especially now, has accelerated due to cheaper technologies of electricity-generating from solar and wind energy and was called the “energy transition”.
The aftermath of the global pandemic COVID19 has raised the issue of “green” recovery, more care for one’s health, environment and climate change. Therefore, the next decade is a period of struggle and global change.
As the last 2 years have shown, Ukrainians still have to fight for their right to clean energy, so the Solar Energy Association of Ukraine has a public duty to be a place of public opinion and unification of responsible business environment for the inevitability of our state’s course to clean and safe renewable energy.
