The Erasmus + program is an EU educational program that provides bachelor, master and post-graduate students of ONU with the possibility to study for free at partner universities and receive a monthly scholarship of 750-850 euros. In addition, the program allows academic and non-academic staff of ONU to complete one-two-week internships at partner universities.

Each year, more than 3,000 students from Ukraine, and among them, ONU students, receive Erasmus + scholarships. Today, the ONU is one of the leaders in terms of academic mobility within the Erasmus + program among universities of Ukraine, and is the undisputed leader in the South of the country.

In order to receive the Erasmus scholarship, it’s necessary to be a student of ONU, and to be fluent in English . It is desirable to have an international certificate (IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge ESOL examinations), but its absence is not an obstacle for participation in the program. All Erasmus + grants are awarded on a competitive basis. Every year, in spring and autumn, on the website http://www.erasmus.onu.edu.ua Center for Student Mobility publishes Call for applications for Erasmus scholarships. All ONU students (except for the students of the first semester of first year and the last semester of last year) have the opportunity to apply and receive a scholarship. Application consists of preparing a small package of documents (8 units: application form, passport, CV, Proof of enrollement, Transcript of records, certificate of proficiency in a foreign language, letter of motivation, Mobility agreement) and sending it by e-mail. All submitted applications are evaluated according to four criteria: academic performance (grade point average), knowledge of a foreign language, motivation and CV.
