There are substantiated the theoretical-methodological principles of social prognostics; attention is focused on the ways of mastering emergencies. An attempt is made to practically comprehend the experience of psychological assistance to people in the context of the challenges of the modern world, in particular, related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Diagnostic tools and strategies of specialists in the personality psychology field are discussed. Problems of collective trauma and group identity are analyzed. Technologies of psychological work in the educational environment are offered, particularly for the bullycide postvention.
