We provide in-depth information on business, commerce, trade and culture in Ukraine and the UK to assist our members and others interested in business opportunities in Ukraine and the UK, hold regular meeting with interesting speakers and conduct a wide variety of other activities. The BUCC also supports the Commonwealth of Nations (formerly known as the British Commonwealth) including by holding events focused on Commonwealth nations. The BUCC was originally established in 1997 by its founders under the auspices of the Ukrainian Foreign ministry thruogh its Embassy in London and the UK Department of Trade and Industry to promote trade and investment between the United Kingdom and Ukraine. Our founder members include AON Group Ltd., B.C. Toms & Co, British Petroleum plc, De La Rue plc, First Ukrainian International Bank, GlaxoSmithKline plc, Procter and Gamble, Shell International Ltd, Thomas and Adamson, Ukraine International Airlines and Unilever plc. BUCC Annual Report for 2019 RECENT EVENTS The BUCC is focused for 2021 on increasing UK-Ukrainian trade and investment, to begin by launching a series of webinars. BUCC Webinar with UK Export Finance (UKEF) on 17 Feb, 4 pm EET To begin, we are pleased to invite you to our Webinar with the presentations by UKEF , UkraineInvest and other government officials. The Webinar, presented UKEF and its GBP 2.5 billion trade facility fo British-Ukrainian trade and related investment, and how it helps exporters with their trade as well as investors in Ukraine, the Webinar covered what projects they support, how you can apply for their credit support and how projects can be financially structured. UKEF discussed examples of projects they have successfully funded previously etc. Questions were answered during the Q&A session.
