“The reaction of the visitors was very rosy. Many people know about us, they know that we are always experimenting, we are launching something new and interesting, and our meetings begin with the questions “Well, what’s new?”. We often have novelties, there is always something to surprise, because there are many unique varieties. We have a very wide range for every taste. A wide range of white dry wines is our highlight. Unique varieties Chersegi, which originally is Hungarian and our company is the only one that grows it here in Ukraine. We also have red varieties, classic European Cabernet, Merlot. We present both table young wines and aged in oak from 6-18 months. We also have Ice Wine from the late-harvest Riesling grapes, which has high consumer’s interest. So far, we can say that participation in Ukrainian exhibition is more effective for us, because the Ukrainian market is now more interested in Ukrainian wine than European. ”

“Here we managed to find new partners. Sicily was represented by two wineries: Feudo Ramaddini and Terrasol. Soft drinks were presented by Polara, distillates and spirits by Akrai. Ukrainians have always shown great interest in Italian products, but this time, we were struck by the high level of Ukrainian products, in particular, wines, and a decent level of the exhibition itself. Believe me, we have something to compare with: we took part in many exhibitions in Italy, Germany, Bulgaria, and the USA.”

For the first time in Ukraine I arrived a long time ago. I remember the first arrival, the emotions with which I fell in love with this wonderland at first sight. Regarding the current visit, I am glad that our partners from Vinos de La Luz advised this exhibition of wine and alcoholic beverages and invited us to participate at Wine&Spirits Ukraine, in which they participated last year. Due to the fact that together with partners we created a company in Ukraine – Wine Gallery, which at the initial stage will import wines Vinos de La Luz from Argentina, Spain, Italy and Shilda Winery – from Georgia, this year we were able to present our wines to Ukrainian consumers who as I know are well versed in quality wines and are the most objective connoisseurs. It was interesting for us to observe the impression our wines made.
Acquaintance with our brand and products was successful. There was an interest and desire of Ukrainian pros to learn more about our company and products. Ahead is a long way to the hearts of Ukrainian consumers, which we will walk with great trepidation, diligence and, most importantly, with love. At our booth, the products of the Georgian company Shilda were presented, these are still wines produced in the European style and by the traditional method of qvevri, Georgian brandy and the familiar chacha. The reactions were different, but all very positive. Visitors to the exhibition enjoyed tasting their favourite Georgian wines, presented by an unknown yet company in Ukraine.

The purpose of participating in the exhibition was to demonstrate the quality and style of the Duckhorn portfolio in the fine wine category for importers. In addition, I focused on interacting with potential importers of wine who might be interested in partnering with our company and starting the process of importing a number of wines from California and Washington to the Ukrainian market.
For now I have not yet entered into partnership agreements. Nevertheless, I very positively assess the prospect of the Duckhorn portfolio, which will be presented in Ukraine in 2020. Currently, I export our wines to more than 50 countries. I can say that both consumers and importers consider our wines exceptional. In Kiev the reaction was predictable but it’s nice to once again to hear and see the reaction to the wide range of wines that we are presented. As a result – wine lovers and wine pros were amazed!

This is the second time we are participating in this exhibition; today we present our own craft product. This is craft vodka Ukrainian Spirit of the premium segment. At the exhibition many useful acquaintances took place – there is an interest in our brand. For Ukrspirt, the release of its own product is not a profile activity. However, our vodka was created as a tuning fork to show what the right products should be, this is a visiting card of Ukrainian strong alcohol.

We have been working on the Ukrainian market for several years and decided to participate in this exhibition because we believe that this is a good format to maintain relations with existing partners and find new ones. We also set ourselves the goal of conducting at the exhibition the premiere of the new items in our portfolio – Prosecco NOVELLINA and the ready-made cocktail aperitif Spritz & Roll NOVELLINA which we are sure will be popular at any time of the year. At Wine&Spirits Ukraine we conducted a sufficient number of effective negotiations demonstrating interest in our wines.

The results of the exhibition are justified. A lot of people are interested in wholesale deliveries. I think that we will expand the geography of the market: Uman became interested, both Kharkov and Kiev. Now we will determine the conditions and will definitely publish in social networks where our wines can be purchased.

During the Wine&Spirits Ukraine with a potential importer-distributor from South Korea, this is a unique experience for us, and we really consider this market for our products, for still, sparkling wines and for brandy. For our neighbours the Republic of Moldova Southeast Asia is one of the most important customers, one of the most capacious markets. So I think that we will follow their path and will use already developed strategies in this market. At our booth, we presented the entire line of products, namely: TM Aznauri, TM Legard, TM Lustdorf.

We are participating in the exhibition for the first time, presenting two new brands – Myanka and Ice Damask. Product reviews are positive, most of all vodka is called Myanka, White Silk, it has double filtration, because of this it is very soft, and no one gives 40 degrees, everyone thinks that it is much easier, it is very easy to drink. Participating in the exhibition we wanted to show the assortment of our portfolio, give people the opportunity to try a new product, get feedback. We found new distributors in Ukraine, also got acquainted with foreign ones and are ready to further consider export relations.

The purpose of our participation in this exhibition is to spread information about ourselves, including in Ukraine. There were a large number of potential Ukrainian partners. As for export, I have gathered several contacts for myself, with whom I will continue to talk about exports, for example, to Algeria, Germany. Frankly, I was pleasantly surprised by the reaction of visitors to the tasting, I especially liked the sample of vodka “Petrikovskaya, Zernovaya”; cognacs and bitters were highly appreciated. I expected that the reaction would be positive, but I did not expect such a high rating.

We prepared seriously for the exhibition, having thought out the image and atmosphere – the guests of the TM Waissburg stand were greeted by girls in Bavarian dresses, offering to taste one of the varieties of fresh keg beer Waissburg, brewed according to the traditional German recipe at the Umanpivo factory, as well as the branded Lemonade from Uman. We would like to emphasize that all beer brewed at the enterprise consists of three absolutely natural components: malt, hops, water and does not contain maltose syrup and other impurities.

We find Ukraine a very interesting market for the development of the wine business, especially now, when Spanish premium wines occupy an increasingly stable position in the international arena, primarily as wines with the best price-quality ratio. Our goal is to find a reliable partner for long-term cooperation, with whom we could share common goals and views on a business that will bring interesting profit to both parties. For this, we have all the resources, first of all – quality wines with character, able to express and excite, and an interesting centuries-old history of brands. At the exhibition we met many interesting distributors and importers, exchanged information about our companies and discussed common goals. At the moment, the first steps have been taken, but there is still work ahead in choosing the right partner.
