In spite of the threatening thunder and cloudy sky, I heard the information which was even more threatening - because the rain will fall once and it will be clear, but corruption schemes in Ukraine have been turned over several times and it is not clear when it will end. When you hear the numbers, the names of the persons involved in the case of waste of public funds, seeing the buildings where it happened, you are increasingly feeling the realities of your country, you are less and less convinced that we have unemployed people and that there is no future here. The more people will understand how rich our country is, the more hard-working Ukrainians will become aware of such tours, the brighter and more prosperous our future will be in such a picturesque country (because walking the capital, it is hard not to notice). Extremely grateful for this opportunity. Positive changes in Ukraine will be! Vasilina AboutProject I was extremely glad I had the opportunity to visit Anti-Corruption Walk. Our group consisted of foreign journalists and several citizens of Kyiv, including me. The excursion is really unusual: I've walked this route so many times and didn't know what was happening there! Of the disadvantages - only bad weather. It was winter and it was really frosty. Of the advantages: the professionalism of the guide, as she answered all questions from participants, knew everything in detail. In my opinion, the excursion will be interesting for everyone who is not indifferent to the problem of corruption. It was informative. I definitely recommend it! Ilya About Project Anti-Corruption Walks project is a great opportunity not only to learn more about the topic of corruption and anti-corruption in Ukraine, but also to immerse yourself in the wonderful atmosphere of like-minded people and experts in your business! I thank AC Walks team for expanding horizons and having a nice walk in Kiev! I thank AC Walks team for expanding horizons and having a nice walk in Kiev! Dan About Project I was on an anti-corruption tour organized by Alona Kutsenko. Despite the bad weather, a lot of people came and it was nice to realize that the topic was of great interest to people. It is significant that the tour took the form of an interactive conversation between the guide and the listeners. Such a democratic format contributes to greater involvement of people and, as a consequence, better absorption of information. Thanks to the organizers - it was really fun and helpful! Dennis About Project I visited Anti-Corruption at Podil, conducted by Alona Kutsenko. The first thing that surprised me was the composition of the group: activists, foreign students, just active youth. When you get into such an environment, you immediately realize that you are not nobody, but potential interesting interlocutors, like-minded people. The tour is very interesting and informative. The guide does not make you bored with the help of various interactive games. Despite the fact that the tour lasts for two hours, you do not get tired, on the contrary, there is some passion. You understand that you need to join the movement. Very grateful to Alyona for a good evening. I advise everyone. I will go to another route again. This is very interesting, and most importantly - the mechanisms of anti-corruption were explained by specific examples. In my opinion, it is possible to use such education by other NGOs to cover corruption schemes in all spheres of life. Julia About Project I was lucky enough to visit three anti-corruption routes: Podil, Khreschatyk and Golden Gate. The first one was Podil route. It was so fascinated that a year later I decided to go there again. I like wonderful stories about the nationalization of PrivatBank, the fair on Kontraktova Square, the construction of the Theater. We read the play in the roles under the theater. This was an unforgettable feeling! I remember one thing for sure - during all the tours I enjoyed the beautiful places of Kyiv and the fascinating stories of journalistic investigations. In my opinion, anti-corruption routes will appeal to those who: - are interested in corruption schemes (and it is difficult not to be interested in money, especially if they are yours, taxpayers'), - love fantastic stories (and the disappearance of funds / buildings / fountains / can be anything here - it's really fantastic), - like walking around Kyiv and think that they know everything about the city (you will be pleasantly surprised). These tours can also be a starting point for those who want to counter corruption schemes and do not quite understand how to do it. And interactives and candies from the guides will create a great mood for the whole evening, and the next day there will be a little left (both candy and mood). At one time, anti-corruption tours helped me get to know the city I had just visited. They gave me many reasons to talk to my friends. When I get to places from these routes, I remember this wonderful excursion atmosphere, and my mood rises. In short, join the tours sometime if you like to count money (both your own and others').
