SEB’s history in Ukraine started in 2005, and following a reorganization of activities in 2012 we are now present in Ukraine as a pure corporate bank. The product offering in Ukraine consists of a full range of wholesale banking services to clients, including working capital financing, investment financing, servicing of cross-border loans, trade finance solutions, cash management, domestic and international payments, currency control, electronic banking, foreign exchange and money market operations. In addition, SEB also provide a solution for salary and corporate cards to our corporate customers. Finally, SEB publish a weekly newsletter “Ukraine Weekly” with a brief update of main events in the financial sector that is distributed via e-mail. The advantage of having an in-market team with local knowledge is particularly evident in the highly regulated Ukrainian market where the legislation and regulations in the financial sector are continuously changed on a frequent basis and typically with short notice. It is important to always be on top of these frequent changes, and we therefore work closely with our clients, supplying practical and hands-on solutions to enable business success.
