History
1910
We’re proud of the fact that the foundation of the exhibition business in Dnepropetrovsk was the grandiose Ekaterinoslav project – regional agricultural, industrial and artisan exhibition, held in Ekaterinoslav (today Dnipro) in 1910. However, thanks to exhibitors who took part from the nearby regions of the Russian empire, as well as companies from Western Europe and enterprises from America (Chicago, New York), the exhibition received the title of international. The exhibition worked from July 1st till October 10th, 1910 for 100 days. It was visited by 400 000 people. The total area of the exhibition area was 175 thousand sq.m., Today this territory is called the park named after Lazarus Globa. More than 50 special pavilions (on the territory of the modern Globa park) were built to accommodate the whole range and power of industrial and agricultural production. The company Expo-Center "Meteor" appreciates its past, we’re proud of our present and keep our course into the future. Our goal was one, is and will be – the continuous development and shift to the new level of the exhibition business under the slogan "Attention, reliability, quality, result – for each client!".
2001
We registered the limited liability company "EXPO-CENTER "METEOR";
2001
We founded 4 annual exhibitions: "Facade" (construction and architecture), "Mashprom" (industrial equipment, metal processing), "Uyut" (furniture technologies), "Mirror of Fashion" (beauty industry);
2002
We founded exhibition "Energoprom" (industrial power). We opened the direction "Production of stands";
2003
We founded exhibitions "Agroprom" (agrotechnology) and "PrintPakReklama" exhibition of printing technologies, packaging, advertising. Joined the Exhibition Federation of Ukraine (EFU) and the Ukrainian Association of Furniture Makers (UAFM);
2004
We founded the book fair "Bookvitsa" (held for 3 years in a row);
2005
We organized and carried out for the city's youth two non-profit educational exhibition projects "Abiturient" and "Stream";
2006
We enrolled into the world's exhibition elite. We were audited by the most authoritative exhibition union - the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI);
During the same year we:
- founded the exhibitions "Landscape Industry", "LitEx" (Foundry Technologies) and "DAV" (Dnepropetrovsk Automobile Exhibition);
- established a series of master classes "Architects to architects" (as part of this project in Dnipro, world famous architects Evgeniy Ass (Russia), Hans Van Beck (Holland), PVCEXPO-2007;
2007
Together with the group "Lokis" (www.lokis.biz) we held the International Business Forum "Machine Building, Metallurgy and Casting of Ukraine-2007". In the portfolio of the company's projects there are 15 exhibitions at the same time. The stand manufactured by our company for a large manufacturer of pipeline fittings was recognized as the best among 500 stands of participating companies from 26 countries around the world.
2008
We opened the "Conference service" direction. For "PrivatBank" we organized and carried out a conference of road carriers "Privat Navigator-2008". We organized and carried out for the Federation of Swimming of Ukraine an international scientific and practical conference "Ukraine. Swimming 2020";
2009
We established the National Exhibition Network "Mirror of Fashion". The project was successfully implemented in Dnipro, Lviv, Donetsk, Kharkiv. The exhibition "Mashprom" was supported by the Commercial Mission of the Embassy of France in Ukraine, it was inaugurated by the French Ambassador to Ukraine, Mr. Jacques Faure.
2010
A network of exhibitions "Mirror of Fashion" was supplemented by another project in Odessa - "Mirror of Fashion-Odessa-2010". Within the framework of the industrial exhibition "Mashprom" the 1st National Exhibition of the Republic of Belarus was organized.
2011
We founded the 1st Specialized Exhibition of Cleaning Industry and Water Treatment Systems "CleanAqua", which took place within the framework of the 21st National Exhibition of Construction and Architecture "Facade-Spring-2011" in Dnipro.
2012
- during the year we stably carried out all planned exhibitions.
2013-2014
- In the conditions of the severest crisis in the exhibition business market, our Company did not stop for a single moment, we made new decisions and organized all the planned international and national events with new force. When many companies lest the market Expo-Center "Meteor" lives and develops. Right now we are drifting along the waves of the exhibition ocean, opening new exhibition halls, new projects and new ideas for joint cooperation for our highly respected Participants and Visitors and moving only towards the planned goals!
2015
For the first time we carried out projects:
in Dnipro - Festival of the Childhood Industry "Baby City"
in Zaporozhye - 13th National Agrotechnology Exhibition "Agroprom-Zaporozhye -2015" and the Festival of the Beauty Industry "Mirror of fashion-Zaporozhye-2015".
In Kharkiv, we organized a project -the 14th National Agro-Technology Exhibition "Agroprom-Kharkiv-2015".
2016
All the planned projects were successfully organized: National Agrotechnology Exhibition "Agroprom-Zaporozhye-2011", Exhibition of Energy-Efficient Construction and Landscape Design "Facade-2016", Festival of the Beauty Industry "Mirror of Fashion-Dnipro-2016", Festival of the Beauty Industry "Mirror of Fashion-Zaporozhye -2016 ", Festival of the Beauty Industry" Mirror of Fashion-Lviv-2016 ". The network of exhibitions "Mirror of Fashion" was replenished with one more project in Lviv - "Mirror of Fashion-Lviv / Fall-2016".
2017
