STONEFIX designed for facing with ceramic tiles, tiles from natural and artificial stone, pressed boards, granite, mosaic paving, heavy coating materials on strong rigid bases or those subject to periodic deformation. Used for work by tile-by-tile method. For indoor and outdoor use SURFACE PREPARATION Surface preparation must be done in accordance with the State Building Standard of Ukraine DBN V.2.6-22-2001. The base must be: - clean (remove dirt, flows, dust, fungal lesions with a power tool or manually); - strong (loose places must be removed and processed with the primer. To improve results, we recommend using the primer ТМ MASTER or ТМ iMASTER); - in presence of cracks, drops or irregularities treat the base with ТМ MASTER or ТМ iMASTER, and then align with the mineral mix ТМ MASTER. FRONT. Sandy (24 hours before the start of work); - the surface with high water absorption and air temperature above +30 0 С require additional moisturizing; - surfaces pretreated with primer ТМ MASTER or ТМ iMASTER, do not require moistening. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Perform the work at an air temperature of +5 0 С to +35 0 С. The temperature of the base must be in the same range. Add pure water to the dry mixture in an amount indicated in specifications, then mix it (use electric drills with screw socket). Leave closed mix for 5 minutes, then stir again. The closed mix is suitable for use within 180 minutes (at recommended atmospheric conditions). At high temperatures, periodically stir the closed mix to avoid reducing its mobility. Apply the closed mix ТМ MASTER. STONEFIX on the surface with a trowel, float or leveling plate, then spread with a notched trowel. Trowel notches must match the size of the tiles as per the table. Do not apply tiles without joints. The joint between tiles must be at least 2 mm. Do not soak tiles in advance! The layer thickness depends on the size of trowel notches. For outdoor use and for tiles with profiled back side we strongly recommended applying additional closed mix TM MASTER. STONEFIX with a thin layer (1-2 mm) directly on tiles. Conduct grouting between tiles no earlier than 24 hours after tiling. We recommend using grout ТМ iMASTER. In case of facing floors, displacement is possible not earlier than after 48 hours. SAFETY RULES Dry building mixture contains cement, which causes alkaline reaction in hydration. When using the mix, use the personal protective equipment (respirator and rubber gloves). When working, protect the skin and eyes. In case of a mixture contact with eyes, rinse them immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Expiration date: 12 months from the date of manufacture mentioned on the package. Must be disposed of in accordance the State Standard of Ukraine DSanPiN 2.2.7.029 Storage conditions: Store in the original intact packaging, on pallets, in dry premises at temperatures below +40 0 С and humidity of 75%.
