That is why we have answered most common questions from you regarding the upcoming QA Fest 2020. IF MASS EVENTS ARE STILL NOT ALLOWED BEFORE THE CONFERENCE DATE? We clearly understand your concerns and considering the situation, we decided that if the ban on mass events is not lifted before the day of the conference, we will postpone it to the dates when the event can be conducted in the traditional offline format. All tickets will be transferred automatically to the new conference date. You will receive an updated ticket with a new date to your email specified during registration. WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH MY TICKET TO QA FEST 2020? WHAT IF THE NEW CONFERENCE DATE DOESN'T SUIT ME? We have an option of transferring the ticket to another participant. So, if the new conference date doesn’t suit you, you can give the ticket to another person. We will quickly replace the participant’s name on the ticket, however this is possible no later than 7 days before the conference. Компании уже во всю используют различные модели машинного обучения в реальном времени. Проблема в том что все они не используют свои ресурсы по полной, а денег на это тратят много. В докладе будет рассказано об особенностях моделей для каждой задачи машинного обучения. Попробуем разобраться для каких моделей и на каком уровне лучше применять какие методы тестирования и на какие параметры необходимо смотреть в первую очередь в зависимости от архитектуры приложения. Мы рассмотрим различные варианты облачных и локальных вычислений и какие лучше использовать на каких этапах. Как можно сэкономить денег выбрав правильные вычислительные мощности. Попытаемся ответить на вопрос зачем нам вообще менять архитектуру, если в пару кликов можно добавить мощностей и все будет летать. He started as a test automation engineer and quickly was bitten by the question of how test automation can deliver the most value. This has led him on a road to discover the links between development best practices and how QA can leverage these. I have contributed a chapter to ‘Experiences of test automation” (book by Dorothy Graham & Mark Fewster). One of the things I love most is to be on stage (at customers or conferences) and talk about my experiences. I have done this at several testing related congresses such as ExpoQA, Begian Testing Days, Eurostar, Microfocus Discover, Experience Day and many internal CTG events. My last presentation at Eurostar was rated as the second-best presentation at the event with a score of 9,27/10. I will also give the opening keynote at the TestConf Moscow 2020. DevOps: Test Alone As in the movie HomeAlone, it seems that Dev and Ops have gone on a journey and forgot to take testing/QA with them. We hear big companies tell stories that they have no more testers, all testing is done in production, everything is fully automated by dev, etc. The actual truth lies somewhere in between these statements! For most DevOps implementations, QA is actually crucial in order to succeed. DevOps, however, has a dramatic impact on the way we do QA! In this session, I will give you some concrete examples and tips on how we as QA engineers can leverage some of the DevOps principles for our job. I will also highlight what I believe are the necessary changes QA engineers will need to go thru in order to survive in this new world. In my session, I will highlight modern practices employed by companies on their DevOps journey. As QA engineers we need to know (and understand) these practices and try to get most out of these in order to support our QA job. Things such as static code quality, containerization, canary releases, BlueGreen deployments, micro-services will need different testing approaches and techniques. At the same time, we see that quality is getting more and more important in the DevOps cycle. This also means that we as QA engineers will need to shift our capabilities (become more technical) in order to deliver value for the team. Собирал сутками свой собственный Линукс и даже пытался симулировать MacOS. Написал тонну Hello World аппов на всех языках до которых мог дотянуться (даже Brainfuck), но так и не нашел своего. Я продолжал тестировать и экспериментировать, пока наконец не понял, насколько я это люблю. Тестирование - это мое. И продолжает быть моим уже 12 лет. Роль Тестировщика. Как ее играть? Роль Тестировщика - это одна из самых неопределенных ролей в IT индустрии. Валидация и Верификация могут быстро перестать быть сложными и интересными. Обычно, когда Тестировщик дорастает до момента когда ему становится скучно, он начинает искать себя в других ролях, как например Менеджер или Разработчик. Как перестать барахтаться в болоте и выйти на следующий уровень В рамках нашей сервисной компании к нам поступают как и короткие fixed price проекты, так и длительные (которые длятся 5+ лет уже). Такие проекты чреваты тем, что некоторые поставленные процессы ""прогнивают"". Многие люди, которые там работали или работают с течением времени воспринимают больные места, как должное и не видят в них проблемы. Потом ты, на эти проблемы указываешь, как независимый эксперт, но люди тебя или не слышат, либо не хотят слышать. Происходит саботаж. В рамках нашей компании мы вывели специальную таблицу, заполняя которую можно оценить, насколько ""жив"" или проблематичен проект. В результате внедрения это помогло понять, видение разных оценок от разных людей в проекте, и в последствии улучшить процессы, инструменты и отношение людей к проекту.
