Hands and the art world
Volodymyr Kostyrko
18.02.2020 – 18.03.2020
Kostyrko's picture is devoted to the painter whose works carry a made-up name. How come the author whose works are more powerful and expressive than Durer's opuses was forgotten? The reason for a historical misunderstanding was a wrong ascription of the works of this unknown painter by German art critic Joachim von Sandrart. He was the first to talk about Mathis GothardtNithardt's oeuvre and by mistake called him by the name of the painter that never existed, that is Matthias Grunewald.

The Hidden
Volodymyr Budnikov
19.02.2020 – 16.03.2020
In his exhibition project The Hidden, Volodymyr Budnikov again and again raises a question to the visible by shielding the things that are usually in the front in a work of art. Instead of properly presenting his works to the public eye, the painter almost everywhere hides or shades their prominent part calling into doubt the chairmanship of the so-called face of a painting.

Croquis
Anna Zvyagintseva, Sergiy Zvyagintsev
22.01.2020 – 17.02.2020
The exhibition project Croquis is Anna and Serhii Zviahintsev's polylogue with their own yet someone else's pathways, about the right to repeat these pathways, about the legitimacy of repetition. Each artist uses their own methods of appropriating these pathways. Serhii studies the fragments of life stories — pieces of the truth that he finds on the paths where his footsteps follow his father's. On the paths that have been trodden by others. Anna Zviahintseva collects her own yet someone else's pathways on maps. Cognitive mapping of her own experience of following beaten paths is overlaid on the authentic imprint of Podil district which Anna fixates together with the cartographer, and separately — with a camera.
