Welcome to the home page of the Ukrainian amateur radio station, UT7UT!

My name is Boris Samartsev. The call sign of my radio station is UT7UT, also UWØU in contests. The station is located in the center of Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. My favorite mode is CW. On the air since 1986.

I prefer DX-peditions, DXs, Contests and pile-ups. I was in many DXCC countries and IOTA islands. Now I’m fond of the Green DX-peditions to protected natural areas according to the WWFF program.

I’m the founder and coordinator of the National Program «Ukrainian Flora and Fauna», URFF, since 2009. The team leader of the «Ukrainian Green DX-peditions Team», EM44U (also EO0U, UT1UWA), winner of the international contest «Planet Earth Expedition 2011».

I’m member of the EM5F, EM5U, EM5HQ teams and the UCWC #20, UDXC #616, EPC #11511, BSCC #250, WFF #99, RCWC #191, RRC #730 international clubs. I was the coordinator of the event stations EM20RRC, EM20UARL, EM110RAEM, U5ARTEK/A and the «EFC-2012 on the Air» activities days on behalf of the UARL. The co-founder of the «Dynamo Kyiv» headquarter station, EN0U. Ex-president of the Ukrainian Amateur Radio League, UARL (2015).

Besides, I have been the champion of Ukraine in High Speed Telegraphy many times and the winner of international competitions in HF radio.
