Due to this process FerroSorb® removes the most common forms of iron in raw water: ferrous, ferric, organic, and colloidal. The active layer of Ferrosorb® contains active sites for removal of manganese. Proven alternative to aeration and chlorination Ecomix ® shows best performance when raw water is fed directly to Ecomix ® unit. Do not use oxidative pre-treatment before the Ecomix ® system. Calcium and magnesium ions are displaced from the cation exchange resin matrix with sodium ions. Humisorb ® is regenerated with chloride ions.
