It is a professional voluntary non-profitable union of international freight forwarders of Ukraine. AIFFU is a national association of FIATA (International Federation of Freight Forwarding Associations). AIFFU represents more than 158 freight forwarding companies, 47 of them are individual members of FIATA. AIFFU expresses and protects interests of members and industry as a whole and therefore is directly involved into developing of freight forwarding activity and transport potential of Ukraine. The members of AIFFU work in all regions of Ukraine and abroad, with all kinds of transport and goods, render services that relate to foreign trade operations (customs regulation, logistic, insuring, tracing and etc.) during the transportation of export, import and transit goods. About 50% of Ukrainian export, import and 70 % transit of goods turnover are performed by help or by immediate participation of the AIFFU members. AIFFU inspires its members to implement the practice, which is proved by international experience, traditions and time. This is the best-acknowledged criterion in forwarders service quality estimation. In this respect AIFFU develops and inculcates service quality standards and also displays initiatives in forming legal adjustments to freight forwarding activity and legislative base, which conforms to norms of international law, standards and regulations of GAAT/WTO and FIATA.
