KYIV TECHNICAL FAIR-2016
On March 29th to 31st 2016 in the territory of International Exhibition Centre (Kyiv, Brovarsky Ave., 15, «Livoberezhna» underground station) VIII International Specialized Exhibition «Metalworking. Tools. Plastics-2016» took place simultaneously with International Specialized Exhibition «Kyiv Technical Fair-2016». The events together occupied over 3 500 sq. m. of exhibition space. 82 companies from 8 countries represented their latest achievements at the exposition. During 3 working days the exhibitions were visited by approximately 2 500 specialists.
Despite the cautious expectations before the exhibitions, all participants admitted the marked progress in comparison with the previous years. Professional visitors from target audience came to conduct substantive and efficient negotiations and some companies had sold the equipment immediately from their booths.
The guests were satisfied by the fact that one event united the enterprises offering capital machinery, peripheral equipment, accessories and raw materials. Moreover, the visitors had an opportunity to see both developments of domestic producers at affordable prices (Private Commercial Firm «Bdzhilka», Khmelnytsky, Research&Production Small - Scale Company «Kit», Kirovograd, «Lion Recycling Ukraine» Ltd., Dnipropetrovsk, PE «OSV Technology», Tsurupinsk, Kherson region, «Stankoplast» Ltd., Khmelnytsky, «Techosnastka» Ltd., Vinnytsya and others), and the latest samples from Austria, Italy and Germany (EREMA Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen GmbH, Austria, IBC Plastic Systems Group of Companies, Italy, CHIMIARAN Co., Iran and others), which set the direction of further development of Ukrainian plastics industry.
It is worth to note a clear intensification of interest to Ukrainian market from the enterprises from Turkey: beside constant participants like DURMA and others, such companies as Guvenal Kalip Elemanlari A.S (die & mould production machinery) and PROTECHnology Industrial Machines Ltd (equipment for surface treatment, systems of industrial cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning) took part in the exhibition in Kyiv for the first time.
Work without a let-up continued at the booths of companies displaying 3D printers and 3D printing technologies: «Itton - Service» Ltd., Dnipropetrovsk, MakerLab, Kyiv, «Smartprint» Ltd., Kyiv. This kind of products, of course, like no other, has all the preconditions for the rapid development and will be in demand among professionals.
Components and additives for plastics - complex stabilizers, lubricants, processing modifiers, foaming and colour agents, black carbon, polymer materials, lubricating and conservation materials for plastics’ production - were offered at the booths of Small - Scale Enterprise «KVota» (Ternopil), «LBU - Tech» Ltd. (Kyiv), «Onix Universal» (Kyiv), «Plasten» Ltd. (Kyiv) and others.
Special attention should be paid to the program of presentations which took place within the bounds of the exhibitions. Pressing issues of energy saving were revealed in the reports of Italian companies Negri Bossi and IBC SYSTEMS, modernization of plastics processing was considered by Swiss company Promix Solutions AG, great interest and discussion were prompted by the presentation «INTAREMA - New Horizons in Plastics Processing» of the company EREMA Engineering Recycling Maschinen und Anlagen GmbH, Austria.

The concept of Kyiv Technical Fair presumes a wide variety of technologies, machinery, products and services demanded in full range of industries. The mainstay of the exposition is formed from metalworking machinery and surface treatment technologies presented this year at the booths of PJSC «Vyshneve Casting and Forging Plant» (Kyiv region), «Galsoft - Service» Ltd. (Lviv), «Machentech» (Kyiv), «New Technologies of Strengthening «Karbaz» Ltd. (Kyiv), Khmelnitsky Press - Forging Equipment Launching Plant «Prigma - Press» (Khmelnytsky), NPP «Special Technological Equipment» Ltd. (Khmelnytsky), «Toolpress - Techno» Ltd. (Kyiv) and others, and also metalworking tools («AV Polystar», Kharkiv, «Industrial Company «Golden Fleece, Ukraine» Ltd., Kyiv, «TDC Ukrspetstechnika» Ltd., Kyiv and others). Among annual participants are companies, which offer such necessary for machine - building products as industrial chemicals, oils and coolants: Trading House «Wesma» Ltd. (ТМ Mobil, Pennasol, OSM), «Inoil - Service» Ltd. (ТМ UNIL, ANDEROL); air compressors: PJSC «Melitopol Compressor»; metal wire mesh: Kharkiv Plant of Metal Mesh «Tetra»; industrial ceramics: PJSC «Chasov Yar Refractory Products Plant» and many others.
An ornament of this year’s exposition was welding equipment of ТМ TeslaWeld («Fortuna-71» Ltd., Kharkiv) and TM ESAB («Araise» Ltd., Kyiv), as well as pipe welding equipment for use in oil and gas pipelines construction (PJSC «Temp Plant», Khmelnytsky).
Kyiv Technical Fair appeared to be an effective demonstration ground, where domestic research and educational establishments can present their innovations to a wide audience: National Technical Institute of Ukraine «Kyiv Polytechnical University», Research Institute of Technology, Power Engineering and Automation of Agroindustrial Complex at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies and others.
During two exhibition days the Association «Drinking Water of Ukraine» held a range of seminars devoted to International Water Recourses Day, where the current issues of water supply and water and sewage economy were considered. This topic was naturally continued by the exposition of companies, which demonstrated a wide array of water treatment equipment, pipe products, boilers, heating elements and innovative energy - saving technologies: «Aerocore» Ltd. (Kharkiv), «Brovary - Plastmass» Ltd. (Kyiv region), PE «Kyiv Social Service», «Schneider Electric Ukraine» Ltd. (Kyiv) and others.
