The journal publishes original research results in areas of theoretical electrical engineering and electrophysics, conversion of electric energy parameters, electromechanical energy conversion, power systems and electrotechnological complexes, information measuring systems in the electrical power engineering, conference reports, bibliographic reviews; it informs its readers about the latest achievements of national science. The Journal was founded by the Institute of Electrodynamics of Academy of Sciences of the USSR (today – National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine) in October, 1979 and is published bimonthly. The collection of scientific papers “Problems of Technical Electrodynamics” (published since 1969) preceded journal “Tekhnichna Elektrodynamika“ (“Technical Electrodynamics”). The Editor-in-Chief – is Member of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine O.V. Kyrylenko. The Journal is registered by the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of Ukraine 24.05.2018, category "A" and its abstracts are published in the Abstract Journal (Russia, Moscow), the Abstract Journal “Dzherelo” (Ukraine, Kyiv). The electronic version of the Journal is in the Vernadsky National Library of Ukraine and is included into the national abstract database (indicate the website link of the library) and international databases: SCOPUS, COMPENDEX, ELIBRARY, EBSCO, PROQUEST.
