UNHCR Ukraine invites all interested organizations to submit their proposals for the new Project “Strengthening the operational capacity of national NGOs delivering protection and assistance to IDPs, refugees, asylum-seekers and stateless persons in Ukraine” to be implemented during the period of April-December 2018.

Please, note that deadline for project submissions has been extended until 1 April 2018.

Following activities are envisioned within the Project:
- Conduct an organization capacity assessment for UNHCR Partners using an established methodology;
- Support the NGO in preparing an organizational development plan;
- Provide mentorship to the NGO in implementing its organizational priorities, which may include trainings and support with developing internal procedures;
- Conduct targeted trainings on the following subjects: values and principles in finance and accounting, delegation of authority and separation of duties, budgeting, accounting best practices, ledger preparation bank reconciliation, quarterly financial reporting to UNHCR, audit follow-up.
It is expected that the project would reach an estimated 10 (ten) NGOs working in different cities across Ukraine.

UNHCR Ukraine invites all interested organizations to submit their proposals for the new Project “Self-reliance and Livelihoods Support to Refugees and Asylum-seekers” to be implemented in Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, and Zakarpattia oblasts during the period of April-December 2018.

Following activities are envisioned within the Project:
- Promote economic and financial inclusion of refugees through engagement with local authorities, employment centers, private sector and local financial service providers;
- Provide or organize access to adult literacy and intensive language classes;
- Assist with access to employment by providing vocational training courses or comparable skills trainings; facilitate access to apprenticeship or work-placement schemes;
- Upon UNHCR guidance, support implementation of peaceful coexistence projects;
- Provision of small business grants for business start-up and vocational trainings;
- Continuous mentoring of the business start-ups recipients for the duration of the project.

UNHCR Ukraine invites all interested organizations to submit their proposals for the new Project “Community Empowerment and Social Assistance to Refugees and Asylum-seekers” to be implemented in Odesa and Odesa oblast during the period of April-December 2018.

Following activities are envisioned within the Project:
   -  Support to access primary health care services;
   -  Material support and counselling to the vulnerable persons of concern;
   -  Social and psychological counselling for refugees and asylum seekers with psychosocial needs;
   -  Support to access education and learning for children and adults;
   -  Assistance with integration in Ukraine, including provision of language classes and computer literacy;
   -  Support community groups in building their capacities to address their protection risks.
