The association works to create conditions to strengthen high standards of journalism. We are founders of the largest journalism contest “Honor the Profession”, which in its first two years brought together several hundreds of submissions and has drawn public attention to quality journalism.

IAB is one of the main initiators of broad public debates on national media issues. The association has drawn public attention to the problems of digitalization, which has been conducted slowly and without transparency. For the past five years, the association has held annual International Forum on Digital Broadcasting, the only platform for dialogue among the government, industry and audience.

The organization creates conditions for traditional media in Ukraine to use new technologies through trainings; has conducted the conference “New Media - New Opportunities;” and is currently assisting five broadcasters to switch to convergent platforms.
