The Seminar was focused on the European state aid experience and case law that will help Ukrainian businesses to benefit from the recently adopted Ukrainian state aid regulations. Participants of the Seminar received the latest update on the status of state aid framework implementation and existing challenges, expert advice on how to comply with the new rules and seize business opportunities provided by the recently adopted state aid regulations. Presentations were delivered by the leading experts in the field: Jacques Derenne, Partner of SheppardMullin (Brussels); Anna Artemenko, State Commissioner of AMCU and Oleksandr Aleksyeyenko, Partner of Marchenko Danevych. The speakers specifically emphasized distinct and complementary roles the AMCU and Ukrainian courts have in the state aid matters.
