UNAIDS launches 2017 World AIDS Day campaign — My Health, My Right
In the lead-up to World AIDS Day on 1 December, UNAIDS has launched this year’s World AIDS Day campaign. The campaign, My Health, My Right, focuses on the right to health and explores the challenges people around the world face in exercising their rights.

Toronto eatery is the world's first pop-up run by HIV+ chefs
June’s HIV+ Eatery is popping up in Toronto for two nights this November. Billed as the “world’s first pop-up restaurant run by HIV positive chefs,” it’s a new initiative from Casey House that aims to “fight HIV/AIDS stigma with every bite.”

Across China: HIV test kits on sale in university vending machines
Students at a Chinese university woke up Sunday to find a surprising new adding to their vending machine. On sale alongside their beloved instant noodles and soft drinks were HIV test kits. Harbin Medical University is the second university in the province of Heilongjiang to sell the kits in a vending machine.

Why Fewer Babies Are Being Born With HIV
Researchers have seen big progress in reducing HIV transmission from mother to child, according to the latest data compiled by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In a report published in JAMA Pediatrics, scientists found that in 2013, 69 babies were born with the virus in the U.S., compared to 216 in 2002.

Odessa signs Paris Declaration on Fast-Track cities
Odessa in Ukraine has become the latest city to sign the Paris Declaration to end the AIDS epidemic in cities. Since the end of 2014, more than 200 cities around the world have signed the Paris Declaration and are addressing the significant disparities in access to basic services, social justice and economic opportunity towards ending the AIDS epidemic.

A police force in Northern Ireland has shared a guide on its Facebook page to help parents decipher secret sexting codes and help keep teens safe online.Terms range from ‘TDTM’ (talk dirty to me) and ‘WTTP’ (want to trade pictures), to ‘LH6’ (let’s have sex).
