Association of Energy Auditors of Ukraine has been developing regulations in the field of energy efficiency for about 10 years. Now we clearly adhere to the position to establish energy efficiency Fund as it is one of the priority tasks for the development of our national economy. However, we emphasize that the draft law № 5598 must be submitted back for second reading because it cannot be accepted in its current wording – there is a strong necessity in its thorough revision.

On 26-27 November 2015 the experts of the Association of Energy Auditors and project “Support of institutional capacity of the Ukrainian cities in development and implementation of sustainable energy development policies” within the framework of technical assistance in the implementation of measures for energy management and energy efficiency held seminars in Burshtyn.
On 26 November was held a seminar for the management of Burshtyn on the capabilities of energy monitoring system, which was implemented under the Project, and capacity of executive decisions on energy management.

The experts of the Association of Energy Auditors have updated the database of grants and loans for energy efficiency projects, which may be used by local governments, non-governmental organizations and other stakeholders, which are aimed at improving energy efficiency and environmental protection.

At the invitation of the Kuznetsovsk City Council the experts of the Association of Energy Auditors and the project “Support of institutional capacity of the Ukrainian cities in development and implementation of sustainable energy development policies” took part in the I City Conference on energy conservation and energy efficiency “Challenge accepted! Energy efficiency in the public sector and housing and communal services sector”, that was held on 16-th October 2015 in Kuznetsovsk.
