Oleg A. Makarov has been a partner with Vasil Kisil & Partners since the establishment of the firm. He has been Managing Partner of the firm since 2007 to 2015.

For over twenty years, Mr. Makarov has been practicing Domestic and International Litigation, Taxation, Investments, Securities, Property Law and Bankruptcy Law. In the conduct of his very successful litigation practice which is one of the most extensive among Ukrainian lawyers Oleg Makarov has demonstrated the qualities of a charismatic leader making his transition into the Managing Partner role very natural.

Oleg represents Ukraine on Best Lawyers Advisory Board and is a renowned expert on law firm management issues.

Oleg Makarov is the author of numerous commentaries and legal reviews on the issues of dispute resolution, Ukrainian judicial system, the legal profession, the status and the position of attorneys in Ukraine. He also has been actively involved in preparation of a number of draft laws submitted to Ukrainian Parliament.
