The association has transferred know-how since its foundation in 1924: for a long time through further education, for the past few years increasingly also through consulting and coaching. With its continuously further developed core competences REFA contributes to optimising the competitiveness of the economy as well as the working conditions of workers and employees. REFA International in the International Institute of Business Modules’ Overview Module 1. Characteristics of a production system. Quality and expenses management (3 days) • Production system and its elements • Quality management system. Instruments of gathering and evaluating of the quality data • Continuous improvement process. Principles and instruments of implementation. Loss card. • Organization of improvement groups and quality circles. Motivation of the personnel in the process of carrying out improvements • Economical evaluation of production systems: 4 methods of production costs calculation. Process costs calculation Module 2. Organization and analysis of production processes. Operations rationing (3 days +0,5 on the exam) • Planning of the production system. Characteristics of the organizational structure and processes building. Planning of the staff workload. Analysis and division of tasks. • Comparative characteristic of functional and process management approach • Classification of processes in the work systems. Standard time structure • Interrelation of processes in work systems. Calculation of length and complexity of tasks execution • Methods of obtaining of time data: conditions of application and their comparative characteristics • Chronometry (methods of conduction and results evaluation) Module 3. Rationing of labor and optimization of the number of production staff (3 days) • Chronometry conduction and calculation of distributed (non-productive) time • Identification of staff workload and of production methods with the help of the selective observations • Carrying out the chronometry and calculation of the time norms in a group and multi-machine form of organization of labor • Study of the manual operations using the method of elementary norms of MTM • Identifying time norms of the new products: methods of analogues and comparisons • Usage of parametric dependency for the labor costs calculation • Formation of flexible work schedule taking into account the multi-shift work, part-time work and flexible usage of the working time Module 4: Organization of material flows and of the workplace. Payment systems for the laborers’ work. (3 days + 0.5 for the exam) • The basis of production logistics: organizing and modeling of material flows. • The use of simulation technology for planning and analysis of material flows (Program product SDZ “Dosimis”) • Modern approaches to management of production systems and material flows: Lean production, TOC, Just in time, Kanban • Consideration of working conditions in optimization of production processes and material flows. Organization of work place. Anthropometry. Working conditions.
