Perhaps it's one of the reasons our culture is diverse. Anyway, here it is - Ukraine. Lately our yellow and blue flag became known to most of the world because of all the events happening here till today (if you don't know what I am talking about, don't even start checking that out, it's too complicated). Finally the world knows that Ukraine is not an island on the south of China! Finally Russia doesn't equal Ukraine anymore! But... Not the way we would want that to happen. In all the news about politics I want to share with you how is it - to leave in Ukraine, Do we always braid ribbons in our hair? Are all our weddings end up with a fight? Do all wives know how to make vareniki and are we all crazy about salo? Are all Ukrainian girls the pretty queens? In my mind there is no intention to recite the history of Ukraine. My intention is to show all the interested people the mundane things we live through every day, which are so similar in every country but yet differ so much! I will try to illustrate all events with photo. Hope my family won't mind 🙂 (Thank goodness English is not their strong side). And also will be hoping for your feedback too! For instance, would be delighted to learn how American would react if a big guy with gummy bear T-Shirt would step on his foot in the subway.
