Sayenko Kharenko advised shipping company V.F. Tanker in respect of cancelling of special sanctions applied in Ukraine

Sayenko Kharenko’s international trade team represented shipping company V.F. Tanker which, with regard to cancelling of special sanctions (in the form of temporary suspension of foreign economic activity in Ukraine) applied by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine upon request of the Security Service of Ukraine.
Sayenko Kharenko’s legal support included drafting different requests as well as other documents, conducting negotiations with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine.
The special sanctions were cancelled by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine upon request of the initiator of special sanctions due to absence of the violation in actions of the shipping company V.F. Tanker.
Established in 2000, V.F. Tanker specializes in liquid bulk cargo transportation by inland and international waterways. The company forms part of the VBTH shipping division of UCL Holding international transportation group consolidating a variety of Russian shipping, railway, stevedore and logistic companies. The holding also includes Volga Shipping Company and North-Western Shipping Company, stevedores operating in the ports of Saint Petersburg, Ust-Luga, Tuapse, Taganrog, as well as shipbuilding and cruise assets.The company has 92 self-propelled, non-self-propelled and technical vessels in commercial service. The transportation geography covers the inland waterways of the European part of Russia, the basins of the Black, the Azov, the Caspian, the Mediterranean, the Baltic, and the North seas.
