She started playing bayan at the age of seven. Her first teacher on bayan was her father. In the age of nine she was already laureate of international accordion competitions. In 2003 she entered Kryvy Rig Musical College where she studied in the class of Dmytro Ilyin. In 2005 she was transfered to Odesa Art College into the class of Professor Volodymyr Murza, the Honoured Artist of Ukraine. Since 2007 Iryna Serotyuk studies at Odesa State Music Academy in the class of Honoured Artist of Ukraine, Professor Volodymyr Murza. In 2012 she got Master degree and studies currently in this Academy as assistant trainee. Together with that she got scholarship from Minister of Culture of Poland and studies at Warsaw Academy of Music in the class of Professor Klaudiusz Baran.
