Some facts you need to know about the colour

Alliance-UС™ products can be coloured in several ways:

- The impregnation method. Staining the body of concrete with four basic colorants;
- A white monochrome coloration. A white colour (or rather a white-greyish) is achieved by means of a white cement casting;
- Coloration with any colour of RAL colour chart;
- A grey colour of unpainted concrete.

1. The Impregnation Method
Our products stained by the method of concrete impregnation have four basic colours: chestnut, olive (pellucid light-olive), ashy (deep-ashy) and ebony. Due to the inhomogeneous concrete density, the depth of impregnants’ penetration into the body of concrete differs throughout its surface. That’s why the colour of the impregnant inside a piece of concrete has diverse saturation, which makes the tint especially deep. An inhomogeneous colour on the concrete surface makes an effect of flecked finish within its colour range. The impregnant stained inside the concrete may lose its colour intensity or get dimmed over time. A timely and proper treatment will enable products’ colour retention. Keep in mind that a pair of concrete items treated by the method of impregnation (likewise items cut out of a single piece of natural stone) can’t be identical in their colour design, even if they have identical shape. Nevertheless they remain very similar in the same colour range. The colour intensity and its transparency as well as the cavities in the concrete, make our products look as natural as they can be. Their natural appearance creates the spirit of antique art. It makes Alliance-UС™ products unlike others, made of artificial materials such as plastic, distinctively recognizable. Water shedding drops and moss growing on the fountains, saline spots on the planters’ surface… all these details create an ageing effect enhancing your impression of the objects that look antique. Such products adorn our everyday life and meet the highest demands of most sophisticated connoisseurs.

2. A White Monochrome Coloration
Items casted with the application of white cement don’t look completely snow-white, but somewhat greyish. These planters (let’s call them light-grey planters) basically fit lots of style designs and blend in with most of the colour palette. Random cavities contribute to the natural look of Alliance-UС™ products reflecting ancient arts and crafts. As the years go by this kind of planters resembles more and more to the hand-cut items made of natural stones, fascinating our cherished customers.

3. Coloration With Any Colour of RAL Colour Chart
These items can be coloured in any colour picked up by the customer. The international standard RAL Colour Chart can be easily found in the internet, in electronic devices, as well as on printed colour cards, which render colours most precisely. Please keep in mind, that the colour chosen according to the classic RAL System, in items made of concrete is perceived by a human eye in a different way. The physical phenomenon of clear-obscure, the item’s shape, its outlines and the sizes of the painted surface, distort the perception of the true colour. We use exterior paints only. The desired colour can be matched by means of a colouring computer device in a paint store.

4. A Grey Colour of Unpainted Concrete
This kind of items stays unpainted. The colour of such items is a regular nonuniform colour of concrete.
