Prof. Valentin Chebanov Search [#] Scientific Projects Under Valentin Chebanov's management Title: Development of methodology of "click"-chemistry for the creation of component for novel chalating materials Term: 2017 - 2021 Support: N ational Academy of Sciences of Ukraine The main aim of the project is development of methodology of “click”-chemistry for creation of organic compound having in their structure nitrogen containing heterocycles, fragments of natural molecular scaffolds and functional groups being able to be part of chelators. Title: Development of methods of synthesis of novel chemotypes of drug-like nitrogen containing heterocyclic compounds Term: 2016 - 2018 Support: National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine The main aim of the project is the creation of fundamental principles for the development of novel methods of synthesis of drug-like heterocyclic compounds. Title: Synthesis of N-rich Heterocyclic Chelators for Further Creation of Hybrid Organic-Inorganic Sorbents Term: 2016 Support: DAAD The main goal of the project is the solution of both the fundamental and applied problems of modern organic chemistry concerning elaboration of synthesis of novel types of N-rich heterocyclic chelators being able to form stable complexes with selected types of metal ions (Sr, Cs, Ce, Eu, etc .) and suitable to create organic-inorganic hybrid sorbent s. Title: Diversity-Oriented Synthesis of Novel Heterocycles by Combination of Doubner-type and Ugi Multicomponent Reaction Term: 2014 Support: Research Council of Catholic University of Leuven Combination of Doubner-type and Ugi multicomponent reactions for the development novel efficient approach to the heterocycles containing peptide-like substituents. Title: Development of High-efficient Methods for Tuning Dispersion of Pharmaceutical Substances under Microwave and Ultrasonic Irradiation for Further Creation of Medicines with High Therapeutic Effect Term: 2014 – 2016 Support: National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine The main aim of the project is the development of high-efficient and energy-saving methods for the obtaining medicines with specified dispersion with help of non-classical methods of activation. Title: Development of High-efficient Methods for Tuning Functional Properties of Organic and Inorganic Materials with help of Microwave irradiation and Ultrasonication Term: 2012 – 2013 Support: National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine The main aim of the project is development of controlled methods for synthesis and crystallization of semi-conducting materials of A2B6 type and pharmaceutical substances with improved functional properties Title: Development of Up-to-date Materials for Selective Sorption and Extraction of Radionuclides and Heavy Metals from Water of Different Origin Term: 2012 – 2016 Support: National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine The main aim of the project is development of novel high-efficient materials for sorption and extraction on the basis of organic and inorganic compounds for the selective withdrawal of radionuclides and heavy metals from water of different origin. Title: Chemical and Analytic Support for Security Monitoring of Chemicals in Accordance with EU Requirements Term: 2012 Support: State Agency for Science, Innovations and Informatization The aim of this project is the realization of measures relating creation of scientific and technological bases as well as methodological support of functioning of analytic centers for certification of industrial outputs in accordance with EU requirements. Title: Tuning Selectivity of Multicomponent Heterocyclizations of Aminoazoles, Pyruvic Acid and Salicylic Aldehydes for Synthesis of Molecular Diverse Azoloazine Systems Term: 2012 Support: DAAD The main goal of the project is further development of strategy of the tuning selectivity of multicomponent reactions of aminoazoles, CH-acids and carbonyl compounds for selective formation of azoloazine heterocycles with high degree of molecular diversity. Title: Multicomponent Heterocyclizations with Controlled Chemoselectivity for Synthesis of Azoloazine Systems with Ability to Form Metal Complexes Term: 2012 Support: The State Fund for Fundamental Research The main task of the project is further development of strategy of the tuning selectivity of multicomponent reactions of aminoazoles, CH-acids and carbonyl compounds for selective formation of azoloazine heterocycles with high degree of molecular diversity, including compounds being able to form complexes with metals. Title: Tuning Selectivity of Multicomponent Reactions Involving Pyruvic Acid Derivatives Term: 2008 – 2009 Support: Kharkiv State Administration The project is devoted to the study of multicomponent heterocyclizations of pyruvic acids with aminoazoles, determination of their general laws, development of novel selective preparative methods for the synthesis of fused pyridine and pyrimidine carboxylic acids. Title: Development of Pilot Installation and Implementation into Industry of Vacuum Microwave Dryer with 500 L Chamber (Principle manager - Prof. V.P. Semynozhenko) Term: 2008 Support: National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine The innovative project is concerned with final stages of development and manufacturing of pilot installation of vacuum microwave dryer with 500 L chamber, its testing and implementation into industry. Industrial partner in this project is “VIVA Ltd” (Donetsk, Ukraine) Title: Synthesis of Binary Inorganic Oxides in Microwave Field (Principle manager - Dr. A.Yu. Voloshko) Term: 2008 Support: National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine The project is devoted to the development of new efficient and power-saving technologies of synthesis of binary inorganic oxides under microwave irradiation. The main attention of researchers is focused on tungstates of cadmium (CdWO4), zink (ZnWO4) and lead (PbWO4) which are raw materials for growing of scintillating single crystals. Title: An Investigation of New Microwave-assisted Three-component Reaction of Cyclic 1,3-Diketones, Aldehydes and aminoazoles Term: 2007 Support: DAAD The main goal of the project is to study new microwave-assisted multicomponent reaction of cyclic 1,3-diketones, aldehydes and aminoazoles leading to diketone ring opening and formation of quinolizinones instead of "classical" Hantzsch products. Title: Study of Multicomponent Solution-phase Synthesis of Pyridine and Pyrimidine Derivatives Based on Reaction of Pyruvic Acid with Aldehydes and Some Binucleophilic Reagents Term: 2005 – 2006 Support: INTAS foundation The main goal of the project is to study of multicomponent microwave assisted synthesis of partially hydrogenated pyridine and pyrimidine derivatives based on reaction of pyruvic acid with aldehydes and series of 1,3-binucleophilic reagents. In the course of the research work it was planned to establish a dependence of the direction of these reactions from process conditions to extend the field of application of pyruvic acid for synthesis of new heterocycles. Title: Development of Novel Radiochromic Materials – Visual Indicators of Radioactivity Term: 2003 – 2004 Support: National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine The main aim of the project is development of indicators of radioactivity on the basis of plastic composites including photo- and radiochromic organic compounds. Title: Study of Novel Nitrogen Containing Heterocycles Based on Reactions of Unsaturated Carbonyls, their Synthetic Precursors and Equivalents Project manager - Prof. S.M. Desenko Term: 2007 - 2009 Support: National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine The project is devoted to the elaboration of novel effective and facile approaches to synthesis of nitrogen containing heterocycles proceeding from unsaturated carbonyls, their synthetic precursor and equivalents. The main goal of the project is synthesis of new photo- and physiologically active partially hydrogenated heterocyclic systems, development of effective chiral additives to liquid crystalline composites, investigations of multicomponent reactions and processes with non-traditional activation methods (microwave and ultrasonic irradiation), study of theoretical problems, mechanisms of the reactions and structures of compounds synthesized. Title: Study of New Ensembles of Partially Hydrogenated Heterocycles Project manager - Prof. S.M. Desenko Term: 2004 - 2006 Support: National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine The main aim of the project is development of new approaches to the synthesis of nitrogen-containing heterocycles, photo- and physiologically active partially hydrogenated heterocyclic systems. Title: Search for new photo- and Radiochromic Materials on the Basis of Bicyclic Derivatives of Aziridine Project manager - Prof. S.M. Desenko Term: 2000 - 2002 Support: National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine The main aim of the project is searching high-efficient photo- and radiochromic compounds and composites on their basis among bicyclic derivatives of aziridine and other fused heterocycles.
