This condition demands as early interference as possible since at high degrees of keratoconus the cornea becomes extremely thin (up to a rupture), accompanied by a manifested pain syndrome. In the course of the procedure the Femto–second Laser creates two extremely precise implantation channels along the corneal periphery.
