Three More Years of Counter-Trafficking Support to Ukrainian Rural Communities
The Swiss Confederation continues its support to preventing human trafficking through social work and strengthening communities in Ukraine. According to Guido Beltrani, Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Ukraine, the project, implemented by the International Organization for Migration in partnership with the NGOs Child Well-Being Fund of Ukraine and the Western Ukrainian Resource Centre since 2009, will continue for three more years.

Czech Embassy Supports Children at IOM?s Partner Orphanage
Members of the Tourism Guild at a Konotop orphanage and boarding school can look forward to the spring, with brand new hiking gear and sporting equipment donated by the Czech Embassy to Ukraine. To the children?s great delight, on 9 February 2012, Czech Ambassador Ivan Po?uch and his wife Martina Po?uchov? delivered hiking boots, tents, sleeping bags and mats, climbing ropes, carbines and backpacks for the young hikers, as well as a ping pong table and sledges for all pupils. Additionally, the Czech food manufacturer Ham? donated 200 bottles of fruit juice for children.

IOM Encourages Ukrainian Youth to Get Positive Experience of Cultural Diversity
A public awareness campaign inviting next generation of Ukrainian men and women to ?Experience Cultural Diversity!? has been launched in Ukraine by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) with the support of the American Bar Association and the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labour, of the U.S. Department of State. International Master in Sports, well-known automobile expert and musician of the band ?Indianapolis? Oleksii Mochanov and ?Mandry? band frontman Serhii Fomenko (Foma) starred in the PSAs, campaigning for tolerance and supporting cultural diversity among Ukrainian youth.
