Subscribe news or Subscribe to RSS Share Presentation of the OECD Reviews of Integrity in Education: Ukraine 2017 (27.03.17, Kyiv) Tuesday, 28 March 2017 News On 27 March, 2017 representatives of the EU Project National Erasmus + Office in Ukraine and the National Team of Higher Education Reform Experts took part in the presentation of the report “OECD Reviews of Integrity in Education: Ukraine 2017”, which held in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with the participation of Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Liliya Grynevych and Director for the Directorate of Education and Skills of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Andreas Schleicher. Rector of the host University Leonid V. Hubersky and Executive Director of the International Renaissance Foundation Yevhen Bystrytsky also made greetings to the participants. The participants of the presentation were Ukrainian and foreign experts, representatives of national public authorities, international and non-governmental organizations, think tanks and educators. Eastern Partnership Youth Forum (22-23.06.2017 - Warsaw, Poland) - registration is open Friday, 24 March 2017 News 22-23 June 2017 , the European Commission together with the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Poland will organise the 3rd Eastern Partnership Youth Forum. The event will take place in Warsaw (Poland), as one of the high profile side events to the 5th Eastern Partnership Summit scheduled for November 2017 in Brussels. The Forum will gather around 300 participants - young people, youth workers, youth organisations, NGOs, educational institutions, youth policy makers, along with business and research representatives - from both Eastern Partnership and Erasmus+ countries. The main topic for discussion and exchange is participation and active citizenship of young people and their involvement in the decision making process. Please note that the call for participation has been opened with a deadline on 12 April 2017. The event was organized by NGO «Interns' League» which works since 2009 as association of Internship Program graduates in the Parliament of Ukraine and central executive bodies. The aim of the organization is the development of internship programs, support, cooperation and tie communication among its graduates. Read more... Presentation of Erasmus+ projects implementation as a part of Programme for International Offices of Universities Monday, 13 March 2017 News The programme "International Offices: Best Practices" is run with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and aims at professional development / capacity building of international offices in Ukrainian universities. The programme consisted of two 2-day Modules delivered in four locations – Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa and Lviv. The participants were expected to attend both Modules as part of one programme. The programme was delivered by senior managers of international offices of highly ranked UK universities who will share the best UK expertise in the field. Read more... 17th session of EU Study Days in Ukraine (17.02.17) Monday, 13 March 2017 News On 16-19 February 2017 EU Study Days in Ukraine held 17th session for student all over Ukraine. Participants got new skills and knowledges on European Union policy from representatives of EU Delegation to Ukraine - Victoria DAVYDOVA and Jurgis VILCINSKAS. Taras KACHKA, leading expert in the negotiations of the Association Agreement, explained why Ukrainian businesses have new opportunities in global markets and the EU. Mykhailo GONCHAR, Ukrainian energy expert, taught participant to analyze power factor within policy and security threats. The aim of the event was to discuss the results and achievements of the Erasmus Mundus Partnerships as well as future cooperation perspectives under the Erasmus+ Programme. Around 100 participants from 15 EU and 30 non-EU countries took part. These included project representatives, experts, grantees and representatives from the European Institutions. Ukrainian experience and story of Erasmus Mundus Partnerships and impact of EU-funded projects on University Internationalization was presented by Konstantin Kyrychenko, Deputy Vice-Rector for International Cooperation and Head of the International Affairs Department of Sumy State University. Among more than 150 Erasmus+ Partner countries, Ukraine ranks the 3rd in International Credit Mobility selection results, and among Eastern Partnership (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine) ranks the 1st. Accordingly, Ukraine has obtained 16 108 000 EUR for students exchange and staff mobility projects. Read more...
