As day turns to night, the lighting up ceremony by the Chief Butler includes a ritual of champagne sabering and the commencement of light background jazz artists and residential pianist. At night, full flavoured cocktails, decadent bar snacks and live entertainment set the scene as the lifeblood and social hub of the resort. The1904 Bar brings us back into the Manor House and the time of the start of the family business in the sugar and rum industry. The date coincides with the building of the first St. Regis in New York City, the hallmark of the brand today.
