CEE Assam 2014 (Combined Entrance Examination)
The Dibrugarh University conducts the Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) 2014 for admission to MBBS, BDS and B.E./B.Tech courses in the colleges of the State of Assam. Assam CEE 2014 is an entry level entrance exam conducted by Dibrugarh University for admission to various undergraduate professional (medical, dental and engineering) courses.
Established in 1965, Dibrugarh University is located on the easternmost part of India. At present, with 17 teaching departments and 14 Centres of Studies, the University is focus driven in imparting higher education in various branches of learning such as Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medical, Law, Science & technology and Pharmaceutical sciences.

Programs through Assam CEE 2014
Assam CEE 2014 is conducted for admissions to MBBS/ BDS and B.E./B.Tech courses offered by various colleges in Assam.
For admission to B.E./B.Tech, candidates must appear for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The following courses are available under various government and private colleges: Civil engineering, Electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science engineering and Instrumentation Engineering. There are four engineering colleges located at four campuses in Assam offering these course that accept Assam CEE 2014 scores for admission:
(a)Assam Engineering College, Guwahati
(b)Jorhat Engineering College, Jorhat
(c)Jorhat Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat
(d)Bineswar Brahma Engineering College, Kokrajhar,
and also other Private Engineering Colleges and State Universities of Assam
Students seeking admission to MBBS/ BDS courses must appear in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Admission to MBBS course will be in any medical college which comes under the Department of Health and Family welfare, Government of Assam and BDS course in Regional Dental College, Guwahati. A total of 626 seats (state quota seat- 503) are available in the MBBS course and 40 seats (state quota - 16) for BDS course. You also have the option to apply to both MBBS/BDS and engineering courses. In such cases, one has to appear for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics subjects in the Assam CEE 2014.
