The administering authority for Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is a different university every year that conducts the exam on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). APSCHE is a coordinating body between the UGC, the state government and the universities. One of its many responsibilities is to conduct entrance examinations for admission to institutions of higher education in AP and render advice on admissions. ICET 2015 is being conducted by the Andhra University on behalf of the APSCHE. Admissions are offered for MBA and MCA courses conducted through full time, part time, distance learning and evening classes mode in universities in Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated colleges use ICET score for admission. Simply qualifying in the entrance test does not guarantee admission to the MBA or MCA course. You must also appear for counseling, apply to the authority concerned in response to your notification of admission and satisfy all stipulated eligibility conditions. ICET 2015 Application Form Applications for ICET 2015 can be done through online mode only. The online application/registration fee is Rs. 250 . Make sure you apply on or before 13 April, 2015 to avoid submitting a late fee. You can make the payment at any of the AP online centres/e-Seva centres/Mee Seva centres or through a debit or credit card. Complete details available on ICET 2015 application page. ICET 2015 Eligibility Criteria Candidates should be Indian nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements. Candidates who aren't Indian nationals will need to fulfil the rules of the respective university. MBA applicants should have passed a bachelor's degree exam with at least 50 percent marks in the qualifying exam. 45 percent marks are required for reserved categories. The degree should have taken at least three years. MCA candidates also should have passed a bachelor's degree of at least three years with minimum 50 percent marks in the qualifying exam and Mathematics at the 10+2 level. Minimum marks are 45 percent for reserved category candidates If the qualifying degree was obtained via distance mode, it needs to be recognise by the joint committee of the UGC, the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Distance Education Council (DEC). Candidates currently appearing for the final year degree examination must also be eligible for ICET 2015. For 2015, qualifying marks in the test are 25 % . No minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST candidates.
