Maclin (groin) secured one of three targets for 16 yards in Thursday's 21-13 win over the Raiders.

Analysis: The veteran made a rather quiet return from his month-long absence due to a groin injury, but was able to at least escape the contest without setbacks. While he's been sidelined, rookie Tyreek Hill has emerged as a highly viable option for QB Alex Smith, while Travis Kelce has also taken advantage by stringing together four straight 100-yard performances. However, Maclin undoubtedly still has Smith's trust, and with his first game back now under his belt, he'll likely figure in for a bigger role in a Week 15 tilt against the Titans.

      Expand +

Hill secured all six of his targets for 66 yards, gained two yards on his sole rush, totaled 25 yards on one kick return and tallied 99 yards, including a 78-yard touchdown, on six punt returns in Thursday's 21-13 win over the Raiders. He also lost a fumble.

Analysis: Hill's stat line continues bursting at the seams on an almost weekly basis, as he has quickly developed into one of the most dangerous all-purpose weapons in the league. He opened the scoring for the Chiefs by hauling in a 35-yard throw from Alex Smith for a touchdown early in the second quarter. He then followed up with a 78-yard score on a punt return later in the period, essentially making one cut after fielding the ball and outrunning everyone in sight up the left side of the field and into the end zone. Hill has now seen a total of 22 targets in the last three weeks, notching 20 receptions and two touchdowns in the process. Factor in his game-breaking ability on returns, and the rookie has become a must-play in all fantasy formats, despite the typically modest numbers put up by the Chiefs' passing attack. He'll look to make his mark once again when the Titans come calling in Week 15.

      Expand +

Kelce brought in five of eight targets for 101 yards in Thursday's 21-13 win over the Raiders.

Analysis: Kelce has finally developed into the weapon that he'd always teased he could be, extending what has been the best stretch of his career with a fourth straight 100-yard effort. The fourth-year tight end has seen no fewer than eight targets in the last four games, and has totaled 28 catches for 450 yards during that span. About the only blemish on his stellar resume during that period is his failure to get into the end zone, but Kelce has largely made up for it by becoming a lethal field-stretching weapon for Alex Smith, tallying receptions of 44, 21, 35 and 34 yards in the last four weeks. He'll look to keep it going against a Titans defense that's shown some vulnerabilty to tight ends when the Chiefs host Tennessee in Week 15.

      Expand +

Ware carried 20 times for 56 yards and secured one of two targets for seven yards in Thursday's 21-13 win over the Raiders.

Analysis: Although he couldn't find much running room, Ware did encouragingly reach the 20-carry mark for just the third time on the season. On the other hand, he was under 3.0 yards per rush for the second straight week and third time on the campaign, as the Raiders were able to contain him outside of one eight-yard scamper. Ware's passing game involvement was also down Thursday, as he failed to log multiple receptions for the first time in eight games. However, he remains a vital cog of the Chiefs' attack, and will look to bounce back with some better overall numbers against the Titans in Week 15.

      Expand +

Smith completed 17 of 26 passes for 264 yards with a touchdown and interception in Thursday's 21-13 win over the Raiders. He also gained three yards on four rushes and lost a fumble on a strip sack.

Analysis: The virtually unstoppable Khalil Mack forced Smith into his only miscue of the night when he separated him from the ball on an early third-quarter sack, but the veteran signal caller was otherwise virtually flawless. He was particularly proficient in an area that he rarely excels in, downfield passing, as he completed throws of 34, 36 and 39 yards on the night to three different pass catchers. Smith's 10.2 YPA equaled his second-highest figure in that category this season, and he threw a touchdown for the fourth straight week when he found Tyreek Hill for a 36-yard score early in the second quarter. Now having pulled the Chiefs into a tie for first place in the AFC West, Smith will look to keep pushing for a division crown when they face the Titans in a Week 15 home tilt.
