Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi Milan, Italy Dear Gmatters, If you think that the GMAT was designed to turn your brain into liquid, you’re probably right. But if you believe all those books that say it’s not beatable – you can’t be farther from truth. (For some reason a lot of people are especially intimidated by the Verbal section of the GMAT; in reality it’s not harder than GMAT Math. There are patterns in everything, including GMAT Verbal. Your task is to learn to recognize them.) GMAT is capricious. You obviously won’t win its heart if you don’t study a whole lot. But in fairness, you can’t go too far if you just study. I’m thankful to Kevin primarily for making me realize what kind of person I need to be in order to be able to beat the GMAT. This includes self-discipline, right attitude and positive thinking. Moreover, I appreciate a great deal of useful techniques and strategies, many of which I couldn’t come up with on my own. And of course, I should give special credit for his annoying laser pointer and inspirational videos. So go study, never procrastinate, believe in yourself and listen to what Kevin tells you. Remember: people who study smart are doomed to succeed.
