Strategy for 2016 year

Television Industry Committee (TIC) – is a professional association of leading television channels and media agencies. TIC represents interests of television industry. The main purpose of TIC is to promote the development of television industry in Ukraine.

TIC’s main development strategy for 2016 year is:

Television Audience Measurement

The goal is to provide the market reliable and consistent system of television audience measurement.

Key result areas:

  • Compliance providing with international standards of quality, technology and methodology;
  • Enforcing providing signed contracts and TIC decisions;
  • Organization of TV panel data quality control system;
  • Ensuring the protection of licensed users of the TV panel data;
  • Education and professional development of media analytics specialists.

Development of television industry

The goal is to raise the competitiveness of television among other media and communication platforms and to promote television market development.

Key result areas:

  • Implementation of long-term program to improve the competitiveness of television;
  • Increasing the attractiveness of television as a communication channel for advertisers;
  • Favorable conditions creating for the television as a business development;
  • Skill development for TV industry specialists.

Self regulation

The goal is to be the effective mechanism to implement common interests of association participants.

Key result areas:

  • To support TIC reputation as an influential television industry self-regulation mechanism;
  • To develop the self-regulation instruments of television and advertising markets;
  • Forming a cohesive advertising and television community, which operates on unified market rules;
  • Compliance ensuring of the legislative initiatives to the needs of industry participants;
  • Effective interaction with government authorities and institutions that are related with the television market.
